I love teaching workshops and have had the pleasure of doing a few over the past 7 years. As things have shifted (within the world and my workspace) I have stepped back from teaching out of my home based studio and have also stepped back from teaching stained glass workshops. I am happy to announce that I have found an incredible space here in Airdrie, Alberta to teach at and will be launching my first ever mosaic workshop this month (March 2023)! Right now, its June 2022 and I have had some time to reflect on my business as work is slowing down for the summer. I often get asked what sort of tools you need to get started in stained glass. Well the list can go on and on the more you get in to the art, so here is a list of what you need to get started in the Tiffany/coper foil technique of stained glass: Stained Glass Tools Glass Cutters - I prefer the TOYO brand pistol grip style but you can always opt for the pencil grip, which is my dad's favourite. Mini Breakers/grozers pliers and running pliers - for snapping/breaking glass after its scored. Glass Grinder - I typically have a few grinders set up at one time with different sized drill bits.
