Our Story

Rebecca Maher is a second generation stained glass artist residing in Alberta, Canada. She learned the art form from her father who continues to create stained glass art from his home in British Columbia, Canada .

Rebecca was gifted all of the stained glass tools, accessories and some supplies for Christmas in 2014. Coincidentally, it happened to be a Christmas that her dad was visiting. She received her first stained glass lesson the very next day and has since taken additional stained glass workshops from other local artists.

She has been able to build a very supportive and encouraging network of local artist (both glass and other mediums) within the local area and around the globe and loves the community and its support.

Rebecca continues to work out of her home studio almost on a daily basis. She attends many local markets throughout the year, sells at select retail locations across North America and still gets excited when someone inquires about a custom stained glass window. She offers stained glass classes / workshops out of her home studio. If you are interested in a class, fill out our contact form

For Rebecca, working with glass is a calling and she feels both inspired and blessed to have the opportunity to offer her gifts to the world.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create timeless pieces that inspire others to create.

Our Process
Each piece starts with an idea. An idea that comes either from Rebecca (inspired from her local surroundings, travels or through studying previous glass eras) or through a custom stained glass window. Each idea is sketched into a design and then a pattern.

Specializing in both the copper foil (Tiffany) or lead came techniques for stained glass, Rebecca then selects glass, cuts, grinds, foils/leads and solders each piece together. Some pieces are finished with a patina (turning the silver solder to either black or silver) and/or framed (metal or wood); all pieces are cleaned, waxed and polished.
